Classes provide short-term opportunities for people to explore what the Bible has to say about a specific topic. The practical teaching provided and the connections made in classes help participants grow in their relationship with Jesus and others.

Maybe you have a lot going on or you're on the fence about signing up for a class. Jenna and Dani totally get it. Classes can feel like a big commitment; they both agree classes are totally worth it. Watch their story below.

NO WORRIES:

lEARNING TO TRUST OUR SOVEREIGN GOD!

Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30 AM, June 7-July 26

Are you a worrier? Are you preoccupied with the "what ifs" and worst case scenarios? Unrelenting doubts and fears can be paralyzing! Worry can interfere with your daily life and ruin your relationships. If you struggle with worries and wish you didn't, join Jan Silvious and Pam Gillaspie - two recovering worriers - for No Worries: Learning to Trust Our Sovereign God! This eight-week study will lead you through Scripture and help you learn to walk in God's truth and to trust Him, eliminating your need to worry! He has great blessings for us if only we will trust HIm.

Breakfast & Bible Study

Cost: Whatever you choose to order for breakfast


This class is currently on hiatus, resuming on Wednesday, August 2.


Led by Don Tremper, this co-ed breakfast and Bible study group discusses various topics throughout the year. Participants can expect to enjoy breakfast together, join in good conversation, and grow deeper in the truths of God’s Word.


Join the group during the summer hiatus on Wednesdays at 9 AM for informal breakfasts at Emily's Pancake House (38730 North Sheridan Road in Beach Park). 


The annual class open house is scheduled for Saturday, August 19, from 1 until 4 PM at the Trempers' home (220 Hickory Haven Drive East in Gurnee). 

A STUDY IN CHURCH HISTORY

Thursdays 7:00-8:30 PM, beginning June 1

Men's study


Join other men in a study of the history of the Church. No registration necessary. Materials will be available at the first class.

The Disciples Path

Tuesdays, 7:00-8:30 PM (ongoing)

The Disciples Path is a series of six short-term studies (six to seven sessions each) that intentionally helps followers of Jesus grow to spiritual maturity by equipping them to be disciple-makers who make disciple-makers!

Based on the movie War Room, this study will help you develop a deeper walk with God as you seek the Lord first for your battles. The Battle Plan for Prayer equips believers to create their own prayer strategy and be specific and strategic in prayer. This study features teaching by Alex and Stephen Kendrick on the topics of what prayer is and is not, why God wants us to pray, specific areas of prayer, specific strategies for prayer, and more. Nine weeks. Daily homework.

In this study of the book of Revelation, Beth presents many points of view, allowing women to decide for themselves when the interpretation varies among scholars. She teaches that God is as specific about what He does reveal as He is about what He does not reveal.
