Social Groups

ENgage socially

These group environments focus primarily on getting people engaged socially. They’re an easy place to meet people with similar interests and build friendships, because participants spend time doing an activity together that speaks to their common interest.

These groups are easy to start, easy to join and are always open.

They can center on anything from being a mom like

MOPS/MOMSNext to fishing to playing basketball.

Men's basketball Open gym

Join us for some basketball! Once a month, men ages 18 and older are invited to hang out and play a friendly, slightly competitive, game of basketball.  We typically hold our two-hour, open gym on the first  or second Monday of the month starting at 7:30 or 8:00 PM depending on the month.

Mothers of preschoolers (MOPS)

MOPS is a community of mothers of children who are birth through kindergarten. They meet twice a month to support and encourage each other through the journey of motherhood. Women enjoy breakfast and conversation with other mothers while their children attend children’s programming. The first meeting is free!

We offer two groups that meet either on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays or the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month, from 9 until 11 AM, during the school year.

Location: Immanuel Church

Interested in attending or have questions? Contact Amy Knee or Alanna Colburn.

MomsNext is a new group this year, for mothers of children in first grade and above. We meet twice a month in the same large group session as MOPS, but have our own table discussion as it relates to being moms of older kids and students.

Location: Immanuel Church
