deepen intellectually

These group environments focus on going deeper intellectually. Usually a specific topic or book of the Bible is what brings these groups together. There are certainly social and communal aspects to these groups, but they have a much more structured feel. They will often include required reading and study outside the meeting times.

The prayer that unlocked my soul? In praying "anything" we are handing God everything. Let us surrender in such a way that we would turn the head and heart of God. He waits for surrendered lives, and He finds them, He floods them. Let us be a part of that. Abandon this world and its unsettledness and run into God's will, praying, "God, we will do anything. Anything."
