Springhill Day Camp is returning July 24-28, 2017. This Bible-based camp right on Immanuel's campus will provide amazing activities under the direction of highly trained counselors. Kids love it! Click HERE to register.
We love partnering with parents in raising up children who love Jesus. Reality is that parents are the primary spiritual influence in a kid's life though, not the church. This reality is what keeps us thinking "orange" all the time. If red represents the heart and warmth of the home, and yellow represents the light of Jesus from the church, then orange is what comes as a result of the two working together. So we work really hard to provide tools and environments that help parents utilize the influence they have in a child's life.
One of the ways we do that is a tool we call the Parent Cue. It's a simple way for parents to engage in conversation with their child about what they learned in our children's environments on Sunday morning. The best part? It comes in the form of an app that you can download here: Apple or Android.
No one loves your kids like you do. But we might be a close second! We've designed icKids Ministries to provide engaging environments for your children. We want to give them a safe, clean, and loving place where they can begin and grow in their own relationship with Jesus. We also believe that the best person to help them in that is you, the parent. So we work really hard to resource and empower you to do just that. Below you'll find the environment that's been designed to best fit your child's age and interests. We look forward to meeting them soon!
We understand navigating a place for the first time can be confusing which is why we take your experience from street to seat seriously. We stocked our environments with friendly volunteers to help you along your way. When you arrive, look for the area designated for first-time guests. We will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
We will ask for the following personal information: family members' names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child. Your family will be assigned a number so you can be identified if we need to contact you during service.
Preschoolers experience a fun and safe environment where children will be cared for by our staff of trained and screened workers. Through age appropriate fun activities and interactive teaching they will learn that God made them, how much God loves them and that Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
Kids learn that they can trust God no matter what, they can make wise choices and they should treat others the way they want to be treated. Children walk into an environment full of music and creative activities related to the theme of the month. During large group time they are led in worship songs and creative teaching. Small group leaders engage children in fun activities that will personalize the theme and lesson for the week.
Through the ministry of Oasis, we are able to engage children with special needs. Trained volunteers lovingly serve these children and do whatever it takes to help them learn about Jesus on their level. Every child matters to us.
Buddies are on call for the 9:30 AM service and our OASIS room is open for the 11 AM service.
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives. That's why we have created mid-week environments to give kids the opportunity to connect during the week.
At DK, fourth- and fifth-graders will meet friends and leaders who will help them become the kind of people God created them to be. They’ll have lots of fun and dive deep into God’s Word to see how it speaks to the things that experience every day. Kids won’t want to miss this exciting mid-week program.
Three seven-week sessions are scheduled on Wednesdays, 7-8:30 PM:
