Our Immanuel Church Kids (icKids Staff), can't wait to partner with your family to lay a solid spiritual foundation for your children. We are eager to work with your family to give your children a Biblical worldview so they will be able to stand firm for Jesus. We recognize safety, quality Biblical education and kid-sized fun are critical to making your child's visit at Immanuel not only memorable, but life changing.
We provide a morning where kids can Discover Eternal Treasures in God's Word. It is a FUN, ENGAGING, and EFFECTIVE way to inspire kids to know and love God. It specializes in using hands-on learning activities that challenge students to talk about and apply what they learn. It is strategic and purposeful, and considers the spiritual development of children beginning at one year of age and continuing through their transition to middle school ministry.
Our program includes exciting pre-game activities, engaging worship, hands on learning stations and solid Biblical teaching. At Immanuel we believe in total time teaching, so the fun and learning begins the moment you walk through our doors! Check us out on Sundays at 9:15 or 11:00. Children in kindergarten and older are encouraged to bring an NIV Bible each Sunday.
Visitors are always welcome! We understand navigating a place for the first time can be confusing which is why we take your experience from street to seat seriously. We stocked our environments with friendly volunteers to help you along your way. When you arrive, look for the area designated for first-time guests. We will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
Registration takes place when you arrive. Stop at the First Time Visitors Desk to begin your child's first day in icKids. Parents may check in children as early as 20 minutes before each service: 8:55 and 10:40.
We will ask for the following personal information: family members' names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child. Your family will be assigned a number so you can be identified if we need to contact you during service.
In our Birth-5 years ministry your child will begin the exciting journey of discovering eternal treasures that are found in God’s Word, the Bible. Children are never too young to learn. We have the privilege to partner with you to help your child experience Bringing the Bible to Life. Each Sunday, your child will participate in hands-on learning, fun worship songs, finger plays, Bible lessons, and more, to help create a very interactive and teachable time.
Students begin their time in a large group for review and worship. Following worship, students are divided into small group for class time, a Bible lesson, and interactive learning. Students are encouraged to build a solid Biblical worldview, and to apply their faith to their lives. Casual attire and comfortable shoes are recommended. Children in Kindergarten and older are encouraged to bring an NIV Bible.
Immanuel Church values and loves every child who attends, which is why we have designed our Oasis Ministry that focuses on children with special needs. Our goal is to create a successful, safe, fun and educational experience at Immanuel for all children that meets their individual needs.
For more information, please contact our Oasis administrator, Jut Boyce.
Our OASIS room is open for the 11 AM service.
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives. That's why we have created mid-week environments to give kids the opportunity to connect during the week.
Parent orientation: Monday March 19, 2018
Dedication: Saturday, April 7, 2018
Immanuel Church wants to partner with you as you bring up your little one to know and love Jesus. This intimate event will celebrate the role of the family and help you as you guide your child's spiritual growth. You are your child's most influential teacher!
At DK, fourth- and fifth-graders will meet friends and leaders who will help them become the kind of people God created them to be. They’ll have lots of fun and dive deep into God’s Word to see how it speaks to the things they experience every day. Kids won’t want to miss this exciting mid-week program.
Two seven-week sessions will be scheduled for Wednesday evenings during the 2017/2018 school year.
Session One: October 4-November 15, 7-8:30 PM
Session Two: January 10-March 21, 7-8:30 PM
No registration required.

This is our prayer for every child who enters our building:
My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding - indeed, if you call it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, He is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for He guards the course of the just and protects the way of His faithful ones. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair - every good path. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.
Why do we take Children's Ministry so serious?
- Studies have shown that the majority of those who follow Jesus choose to do so between the ages of four and 14, often called the 4/14 window. God clearly works in and through the childhood years.
- In 2 Timothy 3:15, God's Word teaches us that learning Scripture at an early age has an impact: "And how from infancy you have made known the Holy Scriptures that will make you wise for salvation."
- Satan is always on the prowl, looking to turn kids away from God and turn their hearts cold. When we share truth, we push back the darkness (1 Peter 5:8).
- If we neglect teaching our children, the next generation will have stubborn hearts towards God and truth. Nations fall from within when they don't know God (Psalm 78:8).
