Study groups meet to learn more about God and the Bible all for the purpose of becoming more like Jesus.

Usually a specific topic or book of the Bible is what brings these groups together.

There are certainly social and communal aspects to these groups, but they have

a much more structured feel. They will often include required reading

and study outside the meeting times.

The early Jewish believers came from a background of legalism and works. When God came to earth in human flesh as the New Covenant, these believers discovered the freedom they could have in Jesus and the relationship they could enjoy with Him.

Because of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, He is the perfect sacrifice and our own  High Priest. And He has given all believers unfettered access to God! Because of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, He is the perfect sacrifice and our own High Priest.

Join us as we read Gari Meacham’s book. We will discover ways to put Jesus first in our lives and give food its rightful place as nutrition for our bodies. Gari tackles disordered eating with solid biblical wisdom and understanding, because she was also caught up in the slavery of food plans, diets and emotional pain. She has been free from compulsive behavior for 25 years. The book offers help and freedom to anyone who feels trapped by the battle with food. Just asJesus asked a lame man, Gari asks you, “Do you want to get well?” If so, this book will guide you through the path to freedom. You too can be free!
